Things to think about when going to a camping

  • Setting up a camp in the snow: choose a place protected from the wind and free from avalanche danger, and then prepare a place for a tent. Make also a fire ring. How to navigate to the Yosemite Park camping in winter

By car

By bus

Which Yosemite entrance is best in winter?

In winter it should be taken into account that the entrance from the east side is closed, namely, these are Tioga Road and Glacier point Road (The 4-Mile trail).

As a result, the entrance to the Tuolumne meadows and Glacier point road is also closed.
